No Bake Chocolate Brownie Balls

No Bake Chocolate Brownie Balls

Do you ever crave the taste of a good brownie but know it’s probably not the best snack to grab? These brownie balls are an awesome and healthy alternative. They’re completely no bake and don’t use eggs so you can make them quickly as well!

The best part is that since they’re in balls they’re already portioned. You grab one or two and you’ve got your sweet and tasty snack without going overboard.

This makes 30 chocolate brownie balls, enough to entertain some guests or give some as gifts.

  • 30 pitted dates
  • 1 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups roasted almonds (whole or chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon Xylitol
  • Extra cocoa powder

1. Pull out your food processor and pour in the almonds. Depending on how big your food processor is you may need to do this in batches. If so, only add half of each ingredient along the way.

2. Pulse until the almonds are well ground.

3. Add in the dates, honey, water, and cocoa powder. Blend until it’s all well combined. At this point it’ll be kind of like a dough.

4. Get a bowl and add in some powdered sugar and cocoa powder.

5. Roll bits of dough into balls and then roll them in the sugar and cocoa mix.

6. Place on a plate and they’re ready to eat. Each one has around 100 calories as well as a healthy amount of protein and fiber.

7. (Optional) You can add mini chocolate chips into the mix after it’s blended but before it’s rolled for some extra chocolate tastiness.
